Frontenac OPP say a pedestrian has been killed after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 401 in Kingston.
All the westbound lanes on the highway were closed between the exits at Highway 15 and Montreal Street/County Road 11 early Thursday morning.
Highway 401 west has since reopened to traffic.
The identity of the pedestrian has not been confirmed by police and the investigating is continuing.
Investigators would like to hear from witnesses with dash cam footage or missing person reports.
