Prince Edward County OPP have made an arrest in connection to an early morning break and enter.
On Wednesday, officers were investigating an unrelated matter leading them to discover a break and enter at Lakeshore Farms Market on Wellington Main Street.
A person was located inside the building and subsequently arrested.
Forty-one-year-old Jennifer Babin of Prince Edward County was charged with the following:
- Theft under $5000
- Break and enter
- Mischief
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Prince Edward County on February 5, 2025.
