Project Renewal arrests were made in Belleville’s downtown core on Tuesday.
Officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at around 5:45 p.m.
Among the items seized were the following:
- 17.3 grams cocaine
- 95.2 grams Fentanyl
- 98.2 grams unknown powder
- $565 Canadian currency
- Digital scales
- Packaging material
- 5 cell phones
Twenty-five-year-old D’Angelo Forde of Toronto was charged with the following:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Proceeds of crime under $5000
Nineteen-year-old Skylar Downs of Belleville was charged with the following:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Proceeds of crime under $5000
Forde was held for a bail hearing and Downs was released with a court date of January 20, 2025.
