Belleville police have arrested a man who was wanted on spousal assault.
On Tuesday, around 4:20 p.m., police received information that the wanted man was staying at a north end hotel.
He was wanted on spousal assault, mischief, public mischief, and firearms charges.
The male was taken into custody.
A 33-year-old Deseronto male was then transported to Cobourg Police Service where the initial charges stemmed, and he was held in custody for a bail hearing.
