Two teams preparing for the World Junior Hockey Championships have settled into Belleville’s Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre for their pre-tournament training camps.
Team Sweden and Team Czechia begin workouts this morning (Wed).
Czechia practices at the Mackay Insurance arena. Sweden at the Wally Dever arena.
And the public is welcome to watch, although keep in mind these are working practices in preparation for the World Juniors.
There is no charge.
Practice times are posted below.
The camps culminate with a pre-tournament game at the CAA Arena on Monday at 3 o’clock. There are fewer than 100 tickets left for that game.
The World Junior Championships begin on Boxing Day in Ottawa.
Team Canada plays Finland in their first game.
