A person has been charged with multiple offences related to intimate partner violence following a domestic dispute in Prince Edward County.
OPP responded to the dispute on Caen Court at around 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.
The investigation revealed that the accused was on conditions not to contact the victim.
A 38-year-old from Prince Edward County was charged with:
- Assault Cause Bodily Harm
- Mischief Under $5000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Theft Under $5000
- Break and Enter
- Fail to Comply with a Release Order – three counts
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
The individual was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
