Belleville police responded to 44 calls for service from 5 a.m. on December 16, 2024 to 5 a.m. on December 17, 2024.
A Prince Edward County man was charged with dangerous driving and other offences after a house was hit by a vehicle in Belleville last month.
On November 22, city police responded to a residence on Marsh Road. A vehicle had hit the home and when police arrived it was still running but the driver had left the scene.
After investigation, officers identified a suspect and a warrant was issued.
Monday, 20-year-old Landon Galvin turned himself in. He appears in court January 23.
Warrants
On December 16, 2024, an officer was on general patrol in the east end of Belleville when they observed a 50-year-old female who was wanted on warrants.
Terri-Lynn LaFrance from Belleville, was wanted for failing to comply with her release conditions stemming from an incident in April this year for possession of controlled substances.
LaFrance was transported to Belleville Police Service and then released on an undertaking with a court date on January 30, 2025.
