It was a long way to go but it was worth it for Belleville native Danielle Lentini.
The 26-year-old Lentini won a gold medal in the Senior Women’s 52 kilogram class at the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts World championships in Indonesia.
Lentini is a graduate of St. Theresa Secondary School and fights out of Niagara Falls.
