The Trenton Golden Hawks defeated the Stouffville Spirit 5-2 on Friday.
Corbin Roach, Candon O’Neill, Mason Landry, David Fournier, and Taeo Artichuk scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Spirit took the first goal early in the first period before the Golden Hawks came back with three goals of their own before the end of the period. The Spirit scored the only goal of the second, but the Golden Hawks took two more goals in the third, keeping well ahead of the Spirit and taking the win.
The Golden Hawks are back in action on Sunday, hosting the Lindsay Muskies.
