The City of Quinte West is providing help to a community agency that has been providing help to local residents for many years.
A motion from Trenton Ward Councillor Zack Card came forward at Wednesday’s council meeting to provide a bridge loan to Community Partners for Success for $16,500.
Card says they do incredible work.
” … 7,000 meals annually, emergency food support through hampers and frozen meals, clothing, toiletries assistance, harm reduction and other health care. Addictions and mental health counselling services.”
The month’s help would be provided in three $5,500 instalments on January, February, and March 1, 2025.
Council approved the bridge loan.
