Centre Hastings OPP are warning residents to avoid decisions that lead to unsafe driving.
In a press release, the department provided two recent examples of unsafe driving locally.
In one event on December 6, officers charged a 30-year-old from Roslin after stopping a vehicle that had been moving at 129 kilometres per hour in an 80 kph zone.
In a second example, officers charged an 18-year-old for being a novice driver with blood alcohol above zero on December 7.
Centre Hastings OPP are reminding motorists about the danger caused by unsafe driving. Motorists are urged not to drive while impaired by drugs or alcohol, obey speed limits, wear your seatbelt and put your phone away while driving.
