A woman wanted by the RCMP in a fraud investigation in western Canada has been arrested by Prince Edward OPP.
Last December, Three Hills RCMP (north of Calgary) began a fraud investigation involving a meat purchasing scam.
Victims e-transferred more than $60,000 to a company called DBL Meats, reportedly located in Kelowna, British Columbia.
The investigation determined DBL Meats was not legitimate.
A warrant was issued for 36-year-old Krysta-Lyn Williams of Penticton BC and she was charged with fraud over $5,000.
The OPP arrested Williams in Prince Edward County in November in Picton.
She was transported to Alberta for a court date.
