Earlier this year, Paradigm Transportation Solutions Limited was contracted to conduct a comprehensive parking study to improve parking in the downtown core, while also ensuring that the program remains financially sustainable.
The first phase of this project included the completion of parking counts and an online survey to gather feedback from businesses, residents and visitors. The project team reviewed the parking survey data, assessed current needs and have developed preliminary recommendations for consideration.
A public open house will be held on Tuesday December 3 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. in the Fireplace Room at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre to allow residents to review these recommendations and speak with the project team. Those who require accessibility supports to fully participate are asked to contact communications@belleville.ca so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
