Northumberland OPP say a man who was wanted in relation to an attempted murder investigation in the Township of Cramahe.
On November 13, OPP were called to a residence on Mitchell Road in relation to a dropped 911 call.
One person ended up being transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
As a result of an investigation, one person was arrested and charged on November 14, 2024.
On Thursday, members from the OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement located and arrested a second individual wanted in relation to the investigation in Ottawa.
The accused was then taken to a detachment in Northumberland.
Forty-one-year-old Serguei Petrov of Ottawa was charged with aggravated assault and pointing a firearm.
The individual was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
