HERRINGTON, Joan (nee McComb)….passed away at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 29, 2024 at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Harry Herrington. Dear daughter of the late William & Vera McComb. Loving mother of Bev Dunlay (Dan) of Campbellford and Cheryl Sleeman (Scott) of Cobourg. Dear grandmother of Ashley (Peter), Valerie (Chris), Kayla (Shane), Sierra (Robert) and great grandmother to Landon, Lucas, Logan, Alexa, Peyton, Connor, Marley and Theo. Survived by her sister Janis Vieau (Rick) of Cobourg and predeceased by her brothers Gary McComb & Carl McComb. Joan was born and raised in the Campbellford community. Her love of family was paramount throughout the years with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most of her working years were spent with World’s Finest Chocolate. Her legacy will be ever remembered by her family and friends. Spring Interment will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #103 Vimy Room, 34 Bridge St. W., Campbellford on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 1:30-3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
