Lennox and Addington County OPP have charged an individual with multiple offences following a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
Just before 5 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Highway 401 near Napanee after it had been travelling nearly 40 kilometres an hour over the posted 110 km/h speed limit.
Twenty-six-year-old Ramadan Abdullahi of Maple, Ontario was charged with the following:
- Failure to comply with release order
- Driving while under suspension
- Speeding
- Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
- Fail to surrender insurance card
Due to failing to comply with a release order, the accused was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Napanee on November 28, 2024.
