Northumberland OPP are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a hit and run collision in Campbellford.
Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Grand Road and Alma Street around 7:30 p.m. on November 21.
An investigation found that two people were walking north on Grand Road and were struck by an SUV.
The vehicle then turned west onto Alma Street after travelling north.
A female driver stopped, briefly left the SUV, before getting back into the vehicle and leaving the scene heading west.
Both pedestrians were taken to a local hospital. One was treated for serious injuries and the other for minor injuries.
Investigators believe the vehicle would have sustained damage to the front bumper as a result of hitting the two pedestrians.
