The Picton Firefighters Association continued to show their support for the Back the Build campaign.
They presented a $2,000 cheque to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation Tuesday night, bringing the total amount contributed by the firefighters to $12,000.
Funds were raised through different activities undertaken by the Picton Firefighters Association, including the annual Christmas tree sales held at Station 1 in Picton.
Construction of the new hospital is underway with completion expected by late 2027.
