David Fournier scored his 20th and 21st of the season while Kayson Un Yi scored his first two to lead the Golden Hawks past the visiting Markham Royals 6-3. It was Un Yi’s first game with the G-Hawks this season.
Trenton built a 5-1 lead through two periods.
Spencer Hughes (6th) and Evan Irwin (5th) also scored for Trenton as they open a seven-point lead on the second place Toronto Junior Canadiens in the OJHL East.
Trenton is home to the St. Michael’s Buzzers on Friday night.
The Wellington Dukes take on the Junior Canadiens this afternoon (Wed) at 2 o’clock.
