After months of public consultation and consultants’ reports the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board has approved a Long-Term Capital and Accommodation Plan.
The plan tries to address issues involving some schools being over capacity while others are underutilized.
It also takes into account the schools’ physical age and physical condition.
Immediate changes involve boundary changes and moving some students around in the Bayside-Trenton and Harmony-Foxboro attendance areas.
