Hospice Quinte has announced the success of their recent Shining Star Casino Night fundraiser.
The event raised $45,912 for the organization through a combination of ticket sales and donations.
The funds raised will be used to directly support the Stan Klemencic Care Centre, providing end of life care.
“We are so grateful for the support and generosity of everyone who came together for the Shining Star Casino Night,” said Petra Lepage, Executive Director of Hospice Quinte. “While it was a fun and engaging evening, the true impact is in knowing that the funds raised will help us continue to provide compassionate care to those in need. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to ensuring that all families in our community have access to the care and comfort they deserve during life’s most difficult moments.”
Over 100 participants attended the event, which featured casino games, a live auction, and speakers who shared their experiences with the services provided by Hospice Quinte.
