Quinte West City Council has approved a resolution allowing Quinte West Fire and Emergency Services to begin developing a Fire Master Plan.
Funding for the Fire Master Plan would also be accounted for in the 2025 Operating Budget.
The plan would outline goals and objectives that will help shape the future direction of Quinte West Fire and Emergency Services.
Feedback would be provided through consultations with stakeholders, community input, and a review of best practices in fire service management.
The total estimated budget for the project is $100,000 with $75,000 allocated through Development Charges.
The allocation of $25,000 would be included in the 2025 Operational Budget.
