It’s looking more and more as though Stirling-Rawdon will be the next community in the region to use
speed cameras.
Monday council approved asking the City of Brampton for detailed information on the process involved in issuing tickets to drivers caught speeding.
Mayor Bob Mullin says an automated speed enforcement system would likely be installed on West Front Street from the arena into the downtown. It would first have to be declared a community safety zone.
Brampton would provide administration and be responsible for mailing the tickets to offenders.
