Registration is continuing for the Quinte West Adopt-A-Child program.
The program works to outfit children 16 and under with indoor clothing.
Co-Chair Lisa Triemstra has the details on how you can adopt a child.
” You can call Trenton Glass ((613) 394-3597), or your can email me (quintewestadoptachild@gmail.com). We’ll give you the information on the child that you’re going to be shopping for. It’s all indoor clothing. You can make a donation online (link below), you can make a donation at Trenton Glass (679 Old Hwy 2, Trenton, ON K8V 5P5) or Bay Marine (516 Old Highway 2, Trenton, ON K8V 5P5) and we’ll have a team of shoppers that will do it for you.”
Triemstra says demand has grown.
“This year the numbers seem to be really alarming, they’ve definitely grown. We’re seeing lots of registration, lots of large families of eight children.”
