While the location of Belleville’s warming centre is changing, the centre’s staffing is not.
Hastings County reports that security services at the new warming centre in the grandstand building at the old fairgrounds property in the west end will be done by Integrity Investigative Solutions, the same company that provided security at the former police station on Dundas Street East.
The firm specializes in providing support to those experiencing mental health/addiction crises.
There will be four or five security staff working nightly at the Belleville warming centre.
