One person has been charged in connection with a July assault at Warkworth Institution.
There was an altercation between two individuals on July 25 which resulted in one of them being taken to hospital with non-life-altering injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Northumberland OPP arrested a 29-year-old from Loyalist Township on Thursday, charging him with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
The accused was held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
