Belleville police have laid charges following an assault investigation in the city Thursday night.
Around 8:40 p.m., crews responded to Bridge Street West, for the report of a man screaming.
When police talked to the individual, he alleged a suspect had threatened and assaulted him.
A 30-year-old suspect was located a short distance away.
Jordan Pringle of no fixed address has a December court date.
