Damage to a gas line has resulted in a road closure in Prince Edward County Thursday afternoon.
County Road 4 is currently closed between Argyle Crescent and County Road 34 due to an incident involving a damaged underground natural gas line.
The fire department has responded to the incident and Enbridge Gas is working to isolate and repair the damaged gas line.
The road closure is expected to remain in place until 7 p.m. Thursday. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
