A 31-year-old man has been arrested on charges of indecent communications and police would like to hear from anyone who may have more information or has been the victim of a similar incident.
In July, Belleville police initiated an investigation into several suspicious incidents involving a male leaving notes in a mailbox and subsequently sending indecent communications through electronic means.
Police identified a suspect and on Thursday, Matthew Baker of Belleville was arrested on an outstanding warrant for three counts of indecent communications.
He was released with a December 5 court date.
