BUSKARD, Mrs. Kathleen “Sylvia” – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia on November 5th, 2024, in her 95th year. She was born in Belleville and spent her entire life here. Sylvia was the cherished daughter of Kate and William Youdale. Treasured wife of Ronald Buskard for 71 years. Immensely proud mother of Linda, Kathy (Brian) Simpson, and Steve (Paula) Buskard. Loving grandmother to Brad (Jen), Christopher (Hannah) and David (Deceased) Simpson; Shane (Jeanette), Jordon (Kate) and Corey (Brianna) Buskard. They will have many memories to cherish. Sylvia adored her 9 great-grandchildren, Maya, Carter, Layla, Ella, Alexander, Lincoln, Leonie, Brooks and Banks. Sylvia was a member of St. Columba Church, a long-term volunteer with the B.G.H. Auxiliary, a member of Probus Belleville, and she also supported many charities with her time and talents. Sylvia really enjoyed travelling and cruising. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date (location/date/time) to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gleaners Food Bank, Salvation Army or the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital ~ Back the Build.
