The cause of a fatal fire last summer in east end Belleville has been deemed to be accidental.
A house on Herchimer Avenue sustained heavy damage July 20 and one of the occupants, 45-year-old Adrienne Dracup, was found deceased in the home.
A joint investigation by Belleville Fire Prevention and the Ontario Fire Marshal found the cause was an open flame candle.
The investigation has concluded.
