The Savour the Fall Mac and Cheese competition takes over downtown Belleville on Saturday.
The event will feature 11 downtown restaurants and promises community, camaraderie, and of course, macaroni and cheese with different
flavours and toppings.
Attendees are asked to bring their own spoons or forks to reduce waste.
Each restaurant will be serving mac and cheese in 6 oz. bowls costing $4 each.
Participating restaurants include the following:

- Bourbon Street Pizza (Bourbon Bacon Mac)
- Burger Revolution (Carbonara Mac)
- Frosty Bubble Bliss (Butter Chicken Mac)
- Gourmet Diem (Chili Mac)
- L’Auberge de France (Truffle Mac)
- Obi’s Kitchen (Smoked Brisket Mac)
- The Belle Pub (Mac Belle and Cheese)
- The Kafana (Ghost Pepper Pierogi Mac
- The Smokin’ 116 Bistro (Bacon Cheeseburger Mac) and Tropical Blends (Spicy & Delicious Mac)
Awards will be given out including the People’s Choice Award and the Judges’ Choice Award.
The panel of judges include The Lark owner Alex Bruce, City of Belleville’s Manager of Economic Development Elisha Maguire, and Habitat for Humanity’s CEO Hazzem Koudsi.
The event will go from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
