Emergency crews are on the scene of a two-vehicle collision in Quinte West Tuesday afternoon.
It happened around 1:45 on Old Highway 2 in the area of 2nd Dug Hill Road.
One person was briefly trapped but was rescued by fire crews.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whelan tells Quinte News that one person in each vehicle was taken to Trenton Memorial Hospital.
Motorists may want to avoid the area for the time being.
No other details have been released.
