One man has been arrested following a robbery in Trent Hills.
Northumberland OPP responded to a call for a robbery on October 18. The suspects had fled in a black SUV before police arrived. Police discovered during their investigation that the victim was threatened with a gun, and their phone was stolen.
On Monday, police arrested a suspect related to the crime.
Thirty-two-year-old Aaron Pilkey of Bancroft, was arrested and charged with:
– Assault with a weapon
– Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
– Robbery using a firearm
– Unauthorised possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
– Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
– Uttering threats – damage property.
The suspect is being held, pending a bail hearing. The investigation is ongoing.
