It’s National Foster Family Week and Highland Shores Children’s Aid Society will be recognizing several foster parent families for their dedicated service to the community.
At a virtual recognition event this week, Highland Shores CAS will pay special honour to Pat Andrews and her extended family for outstanding care for numerous children and youth over many years.
Other foster parents will be receiving gifts for milestone anniversaries with the agency.
Highland Shores CAS want Foster and Kin in Care Parents to know they’re appreciated each and every day for
opening their homes and their hearts to children and youth.
It further acknowledges all the work they do to support the families of these children and youth, while they work through some of the most difficult challenges of their lives.
