Now J.C. Lemieux and Maddox Dagenais will play against one another on the world stage.
Hockey Canada has named Lemieux and Dagenais to the Canadian rosters for the U17 World Challenge.
Dagenais has been on a tear in the QMJHL. The first overall pick has 13 points in just 10 games as a 16-year-old.
The 6’3, 180lb forward will play for Canada Red at the international tournament.
