Condé Nast Traveler released its Top 10 List of The Best Hotels around the world.
The magazine included a list of the best places in Canada.
Sitting at number four in the voting was The Royal in Prince Edward County.
It scored a 98.57 out of 100, less than one per cent out of top spot.
The review credited The Royal with the tie to the 145-year history of the building, while updating and modernizing the space.
The Royal was ranked the number one Canadian hotel outside of Toronto.
