Hike for Hospice raises over $47,000

Hospice Quinte has announced it has raised over $47,000 from its Hike for Hospice event.

Over 100 hikers gathered at Centennial Park in Trenton on Saturday.

In a release, Hospice Quinte notes that $30,000 came from pledges of the participants alone.

“We are so thrilled with the result of this year’s Hike for Hospice,” said Hospice Quinte’s Executive Director Petra Lepage in a release.

“It was wonderful to see all the support we have in our community for quality hospice care. These funds will help us continue our mission to ensure everyone who needs it has access to hospice palliative care.”
