Quinte West OPP say two people died in last night’s head-on collision on Frankford Road.
A car and SUV were involved in the crash around 9:30 p.m. near Scotts Church Road.
The drivers, a 32-year-old man from Quinte West and a 52-year-old woman from Quinte West, were pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
Frankford Road, also known as County Road 5, was closed between Wallbridge-Loyalist and Rose roads for an investigation by the Collision Reconstructionist and Technical Collision Investigation Team.
The road has since been reopened.
