Most of the commercial vehicles stopped by the OPP and the Ministry of Transportation Friday in Prince Edward County were deemed as unsafe for the road.
Eighteen commercial vehicles were pulled over and inspected.
Eleven were taken out of service for repairs.
Three of the vehicles had licence plates removed because of serious safety issues.
In total, fourteen Highway Traffic Act charges were laid in the commercial motor vehicle safety blitz.
