Not surprisingly, advance voting numbers in the recently called Bay of Quinte riding by-election are on the low side.
Advance voting began Sunday, September 8 and ended Friday, September 13. Elections Ontario says
7,885 voters had cast ballots. That’s 8.1 per cent of eligible voters.
During the general provincial election in 2022, 12,285 voters or 13 per cent of registered voters cast ballots in advance.
Voters can still vote in advance at the riding’s returning office until Wednesday, the day before election day.
