The Bain Excavating Rockies are on the brink of capturing their fifth consecutive Thornton Portt Trophy as champions of the South Hastings Baseball League.
Dryden North struck out ten while Joe Blakely drove in three to lead the Rockies over the Read McGuinness Water Solutions Young Guns 7-1. Lex Mahar drove in a pair.
Bain takes a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
