Prince Edward County OPP have laid impaired driving charges after a wreck on Highway 49.
On Thursday, close to 9 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 49 in Prince Edward County.
The driver was arrested and taken to the detachment as part of an investigation. They had suffered no injuries in the crash.
Forty-two-year old Ian McAnsh of Wellington was charged with operation while impaired and driving without a licence.
The driver was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on October 2, 2024. Their vehicle was also impounded for seven days.
