The August building stats for Quinte West are in, and construction is up compared to August 2023.
Sixty-nine permits were issued in August, with a combined value of $18,633,000. In August of 2023, only 52 permits were issued, with a value of $9,109,000.
Twenty-nine new residential units were approved, including 15 single-family homes, two apartments, and 12 townhouse units.
A total of $227,156.96 was raised by development charges.
So far this year, up until the end of August, 416 building permits have been issued in Quinte West, with a value of $132,450,500.
