Quinte West OPP have laid charges in connection with a stabbing in the City of Quinte West.
The suspect was located and charged by Quinte West OPP officers, and members of the Quinte West OPP Crime Unit, on Wednesday.
Thirty-eight-year-old Justin Lyons of Trenton has been charged with attempt to commit murder and possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Officers were called to an apartment just after 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday where a 34-year-old man was located with stab wounds and was taken to a regional trauma centre.
The suspect in the incident had fled the scene.
Lyons remains in custody with a bail hearing scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
