Belleville police arrested and charged a 51-year-old male with two counts of mischief and one count of possession of stolen property.
On Tuesday just before 10 a.m., police attended a business on Church Street after receiving a complaint of ongoing mischief.
The complainant told police that despite requests to stop, the suspect continued to throw garbage on the property and that the man was refusing to leave.
When police spoke to the suspect, they said they discovered that the bicycle in the man’s possession was stolen from Montreal.
A 51-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with two counts of mischief and one count of possession of stolen property.
The man was held for a bail hearing.
