Rollins, Gail Marie
At about 11:45 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2024 Gail Marie Rollins (née Langabeer) left us after a brief illness. She was just shy of her 80th birthday. She has gone to cook up a big meal for her parents Lyle and Dora Langabeer, along with her big sister Marilyn (a.k.a Mona) and her favourite aunt and uncle, Betty and Bruce Parsons. Left to miss her is her modern family, including her husband of 58 years, Gerald (Jerry) Rollins, her son Duane Rollins, daughter-by-choice Kendra Lafleur (Scott), daughter-in-law Andrea Miller (Perry), and her beloved grandkids of Kiley, Teige and Corinne. It was Gail’s wish to not cause a fuss, so cremation took place and it will be followed by a small ceremony for the family. Arrangements entrusted to Steele Funeral Home (613-968-2273). Gail lived her whole life in Belleville and Hastings County, so a donation to a local charity would be the family’s preferred way to honour her memory.
