CML Snider and Stirling Public School are the top ranked local schools in the Fraser Institute’s annual rankings of Ontario elementary schools released Thursday.
CML Snider, in Wellington received a 9/10 score, ranking it 91st out of 3021 public, Catholic, independent and charter schools.
The Stirling school was 150th with an 8.6 score.
Cité-Jeunesse in Trenton and Sir John A Macdonald in Belleville tied for third with a 7.3 rating.
The two local schools with the lowest ratings were Prince of Wales and Our Lady of Fatima in Belleville.
The scores are based on nine academic indicators derived from province-wide test results.
