Belleville police arrested two people on warrants following a theft from a business in the north end of Belleville. Police received the report of the theft on August 23. Two suspects were identified with police requesting an arrest warrant as they were unable to locate them.
On Wednesday, an officer spotted one of the parties as they were on patrol. Thirty-year-old Christopher Gray of Belleville was arrested on the strength of the arrest warrant for theft under $5000 and breach of probation.
Shortly after, the second wanted party turned themselves in to police. Thirty-two-year-old Rhonda Giordano of Belleville was arrested on the strength of the arrest warrant for theft under $5,000.
Both Gray and Giordano were released on an undertaking with a court date in September.
