The biggest event of the year on the local agricultural scene gets underway Wednesday.
It’s the annual Hastings County Plowing Match and Farm Show.
This year the match will be held at Clayvale Farms, belonging to Richard & Anne Dracup at 416 Sutherland Road in Stirling.
The show will feature plowing matches, vendors, live entertainment and demonstrations of the latest in farming technology.
The Plowing Match runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. both Wednesday and again Thursday.
